SENATE VOTES

The United States Senate recently passed a major bipartisan housing bill aimed at addressing the country’s growing housing shortage. Known as the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, the measure received strong support with an 89–10 vote.

Lawmakers from both parties backed the proposal, which focuses on increasing the supply of homes, reducing regulatory barriers that slow construction, and expanding financing options for affordable housing projects. Supporters say the bill could help make housing more accessible for many Americans. However, the legislation is not law yet. It must still be approved by the United States House of Representatives before it can move forward to the president for final approval. 🏛️
