{"id":1232,"date":"2026-04-10T19:43:40","date_gmt":"2026-04-10T19:43:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/freshora.xyz\/?p=1232"},"modified":"2026-04-10T19:43:40","modified_gmt":"2026-04-10T19:43:40","slug":"price-per-pack-of-cigarettes-tax","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/freshora.xyz\/?p=1232","title":{"rendered":"Price per pack of cigarettes: tax,"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>The price of cigarettes in France has been increasing steadily for many years, mainly as a result of government policies aimed at reducing tobacco consumption.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The retail price of tobacco products is initially proposed by manufacturers or importers, who include production costs, distribution expenses, commercial margins, and mandatory taxes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The final price of a pack of cigarettes consists of three main components: the manufacturer\u2019s share, the tobacconist\u2019s margin, and taxes imposed by the state.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Manufacturers receive roughly 15% of the retail price, while tobacconists earn between 8% and 10% for selling the products.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The majority of the price, however, comes from taxation.
